NAAT Garlic Magic Review

I have used, and absolutely love, NAAT hair care products so when I learned about their line of garlic hair care I was, well, confused. Garlic hair care? Really?  So, before I even received the NAAT Garlic Magic line of products to review, I did some research. It turns out that garlic is a natural hair remedy and has restorative properties. Who knew?!

The line cleanses the scalp of impurities and strengthen hair follicles to promote growth, hair health, and shine. It is also formulated to prevent dandruff, excess oiliness, and hair loss. Included in the line of products is:

  • NAAT Garlic Extra Force Shampoo
  • NAAT Garlic Extra Force Conditioner
  • NAAT Garlic Extra Force Styling Cream
  • NAAT Garlic Leave In Conditioner
  • NAA Garlic Magic Hair Mask

Review: I can tell you that I was really nervous when I opened the first bottle. After all, I am all for natural remedies but I was not willing to walk around smelling like a clove of garlic. I was pleasantly surprised that the products had a very pleasing scent with not even the smallest hint of garlic. Whew...odoriferous crisis averted!

I can always tell when a shampoo and conditioner are high quality when my hair feels silky smooth even in the shower. After just one wash and condition, I could notice a difference. My hair was shiny and looked healthier. I did not notice much of a difference with the Leave in Conditioner which is meant to help control frizz but my hair is naturally very straight.  I really loved the Hair Mask and use it once a week to really give my hair a deep conditioning. My daughter also really loves this product and looks forward to getting the treatment weekly. After two weeks of use I am very happy with how healthy my hair looks. Unfortunately, I still have some slight dandruff even with the use of these products and my hair (especially my bangs) seem to have more static than when I used other shampoos. After applying a quick spritz of hair spray this seems to be under control though. Even with the static, I love these products and would definitely recommend hiving them a try.

Here are my before (using NAAT) and two weeks later. The biggest difference was a silky smooth feel which can't be captured in a photo. You can see that my natural hair color actually looks a little richer:
