Before long you may be invited to an endless number of holiday parties and I don't know about you, but I can't show up to a party empty handed. Here are some great products that I have recently had the chance to review or have used over the past year that I think would make great hostess gifts!

1. THE GIFT OF HOLIDAY SCENTS: Air Wick Homemade Holiday Collection

airwick

Why not put together a little goodie bag (or box for that matter) of great smelling products from Air Wick. I had the chance to try some of these scents in candles and scented oils and these make our whole house smell amazing. My son has even become a huge fan and insists on making sure the scented oils are not empty and loves to pick the next scent. There was not a scent we did not love and they are available for only $5.99 per two-pack of scented oils or 1 pack of color changing candle! Seriously, I wish there was a scratch and sniff option so you could breath in these amazing scents yourself!  Of course, I am partial to the Vanilla Buttercream Cupcake which smells like cake batter!  Scents in the Homemade Holiday Collection include:
  • Baked Apple Strudel
  • Vanilla Buttercream Cupcake
  • Trimming the Tree
  • Baked Pear & Cinnamon
  • Cinnamon Roasted Chestnuts
  • Honey Sugarplum
Buy it here: Air Wick's full range of products retail from $2.99-$5.99 and are available at most major retailers.

2. THE GIFT OF WINE & BUBBLY - IN STYLE!: Built Totes

built

Bringing a bottle of wine or champagne is usually a fail-safe hostess gift. Why not go one step further and put the bottle in an awesome reusable tote. Built has some adorable and festive bottle totes that make them perfect for gift giving. The One Bottle and Champagne Totes are made from the wetsuite material, neoprene. The totes insulate one 750ml-1L bottle for up to 4 hours.

I really love these adorable totes. I like bringing food and beverage items to share at holiday parties, but this allows you to give something specifically to the host/hostess that they can keep. Since they are reusable, they can continue to use it when they need to insulate wines and champagnes themselves. I tested one out and it did a great job of keeping my wine nice and chilled for several hours. This would be perfect for future picnics!

Buy it here: You can purchase the Built Holiday Wine Tote for $16 and the Champagne Tote for $14.99 from Built's website. They are also available at select retail locations.

3. THE GIFT OF MORE WINE! Old World Gourmet (OWG) Vino-Licious

OWG

Old World Gourmet (OWG) is an upscale food and beverage company with innovative beverages. OWG has an especially fun line of frozen wine mixers. The OWG Vino-Licious line offers unique frozen wine party drinks and adds bold, delicious flavors to any type of wine! You just get your favorite bottle of wine, add the mix and then freeze! Flavors for red wines include sangria and blueberry pomegranate. The white wine flavors include frozen lemon, margarita, peach and more!  These were so delicious and you can read my full review of the mixes here.  These would be a great hostess gift prepared or in the box for enjoyment later!  To make it even more special, pair a mix with a couple of wine glasses and a bottle of wine for the perfect gift.

Buy it here:You can purchase OWG products from their website. Their Vino-Licious products are $10 each or you can purchase a 3-pack assortment for $24.99.

4. THE GIFT OF SNACKS TO SHARE! Wholly Guacamole

Wholly Guacamole

Wholly Guacamole products are all natural and contain no preservatives. They are gluten free, kosher certified, non GMO and made with real Haas Avocados.  With Wholly Guacamole you can go beyond just dipping with their appetizer and finger food recipes at eatwholly.com/recipes.  Wholly Guacamole is so delicious and tastes great as a dip or even as a topping on some nachos. I personally love the taste of the Homestyle and Classic Guacamole. There is also a Spicy version if you like a little zing.  Read my full review here.

Buy it here: Wholly Guacamole products can be purchased at your local grocery store.

5. THE GIFT OF DESSERT!

I could not possibly omit a baked good because that is what I bring most often. It is an inexpensive and personal way to thank your host/hostess and everyone at the party can enjoy the cookies, pie, cakes, etc. Pack up some cookies and bring them along! Check out my recipe for Chocolate and Peppermint Patty Cookies for a minty and sweet cookie idea!
