We have had a very busy summer this year. Since we don't have as many commitments this year as we have had in the past, we have been able to enjoy all the outdoor activities that my wonderful city has to offer. We have been canoeing, trail walking, and swimming. And we have also acquired a nice collection of big bites, scrapes and cuts along the way. Neosporin® and Band-Aid® products are must-haves this time of year and I always keep my closet well stocked with these trusted brands!
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to review some great first aid products:
Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages Featuring Disney Pixar's Monsters University: I must say that our family loves Monster's Inc and Monster's University and we were glad to see our favorite characters now on Band-Aids! The bandages are adorable. The adhesive is just sticky enough to stay put on skin, yet removes from the skin with ease when it is time to remove or change the bandage. They work just as well as classic Band-aids, but something about the adorable characters seem to make my children feel better a little faster. Plus, they are gender-neutral so one box can fix every child's boo-boos!
Johnson and Johnson® First Aid Kit: It is the 125th anniversary of the First Aid Kit and J&J wants to make sure everyone has an updated kit on hand. There are promotions that provide you with a nice first aid kit bag with the purchase various first aid products. I was glad to get a smaller, more portable kit. We have a large one that I keep in my car, but we have been spending a lot more time outdoors doing activities and it is great to have a smaller version that I can toss in my purse or backpack.
Within in the kit, we have some of the Band-Aids, Neosporin, Benadryl® Cream, and bandages. We have definitely gotten use out of the Neosporin and Benadry. I definitely notice a difference in healing time when cuts are treated with Neosporin. I don't have to worry about infection and it heals quicker. The Benadryl cream has been helpful with bug bites and rashes. My son had a HUGE bite (most likely a reaction to a small bite) but we were able to treat it with the Benadryl which helped reduce the swelling and itching. This kit is a must!
