I have been using Purex laundry detergent for years. It is effective, smells great, and is much more affordable than other brands. So, I was happy to hear that they offer a line of fabric softener sheets! Purex fabric softener dryer sheets are available in Mountain Breeze and Soft Lavender scents and also reduce static cling and repel pet hair and lint. Since they smell so fresh, they also have other household uses. You can place them in your hamper, linen closet, drawers, and even shoes to keep your entire house smelling fresh!

Review: I was given a sample of the Mountain Breeze scent to review. The scent is very strong. In fact, I could smell them through the packaging and post office box they arrived in. When I get products for review, I typically store them in one of my back rooms until I am ready to review them and when my husband came home he started looking around because he thought I bought a new candle and was burning it somewhere. When I showed him what he was smelling he commented on how much he loved the scent. I enjoy it too; however, it is strong and I have pretty bad allergies. I had to move the box to my laundry room the next day because the strong scent kept making me sneeze!

The effect of the fragrance on the clothing was much more subtle. The clothes came out of the dryer smelling very fresh and the scent was not overpowering at all (and luckily my clothes did not make me continually sneeze!). The sheets did a great job at reducing static cling. I have been using eco-friendly dryer balls which do a great job with softening clothes but do not take care of static at all. The Purex Fabric Softener Sheets, on the other hand, handled the cling, made my clothes smell great, and they were really soft. What more could you ask for in a dryer sheet?!
