The holiday season can get so busy that making delicious and healthy dinners for my family can be very challenging. Review: I had the opportunity to try out the Broccoli Stir-Fry which has a combination of broccoli, carrots, onions, red bell peppers, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and celery. The recipe on the back was for a steak stir-fry but I opted for a healthier version and decided to make a chicken stir-fry. To include cooking the rice, the entire meal took me only 30 minutes to make thanks to the shortcut of not having to cut the veggies. I added some soy sauce for flavor and it was a meal the whole family really enjoyed. That's right - my kids actually ate all of their vegetables! It was quick, easy, and a very inexpensive meal. The vegetables were very delicious. In fact, I would have never guessed that they were frozen vegetables if I hadn't had prepared the meal myself. We usually buy generic frozen vegetables and you would have never convinced me that there is a difference in flavor, but I am not sure that I will ever buy generic again! I am looking forward to trying the rest of the Recipe Ready line of products.
