Teespring: Unique Fundraising Opportunity

I adore my children's school, but I really wish they would come up with more unique ideas for fundraisers.  It is a private school that relies on tuition to stay open and often think that a couple of good fundraisers could really go a long way. Anyone can design a shirt which they can then sell via Facebook, Twitter, or any other desired online platform. The seller keeps all the profit from the shirts.  Sure, it can be used for charities, but Teespring is for anyone who is looking to make a little extra money. The shirt featured above was designed by a family who needed help funding their adoption. The one on the right was created for Boston relief efforts and made the cause $85,000!! 

Teespring is unlike other apparel fundraisers because you don't have to worry about ordering too much or too little.  Customers order right from the site so you will always order the right number with right sizes. Plus, there are NO upfront cost! and satisfaction is guarenteed.

Designing is really easy. Through the Teespring site, you can design your tee in as little as minutes. You can upload your own image, add text, and select colors. By selecting only the necessary colors on the logo, you can help bring down costs.  You also have the option of choosing the color of the fabric and adding features to the back of the shirt. Once your t-shirt is designed, you then set the price and goal. The higher the goal, the lower the printing prices. You can also set a time frame for selling and select an option to have people pick up the shirts for local sales which will help save on shipping.
This is an amazing risk-free opportunity to raise money and I will certainly spread the word among local organizations who are looking for fundraising opportunities.  I think it would be great for our school to have a contest among the kids to design a logo. It would also be a great way to get everyone matching shirts for fundraising walks. The possibilities are truly endless.
