Andrea's Beau Review: I was given the opportunity to review the Obsidian Stone Headband. It is inspired by volcanic glass, commonly known as obsidian. It is made using a cluster of jagged gems and beads and is placed on the side of a gunmetal drape satin headband.It is available in three colors and the cluster is about 2 inches long.

The headband is really pretty and my daughter immediately pleaded with me to hand it over to her when it arrived. I can just see the fight over clothing and accessories that is bound to happen when she is a teenager! The gunmetal drape is very unique. It is flexible and at first I was concerned that it would fall apart easily but it is actually well designed to shape to your head so you don't have hard plastic or some other material unnaturally sticking out. 

When the package arrived it was really hot outside and the box ended up sitting in the sun for a few hours. I assume that because of the heat a couple of the gems were not fully secured onto the headband and looked like they could have easily peeled off. I used some crafting glue to readhere them and this seemed to do the trick.  My contact at Andrea's Beau assured me that this had never happened before and agreed that it was likely due to the heat. She also stated that it if this would ever happen with a customer's order they would absolutely replace the product. I love the quality guarantee and customer service! 

The headband itself had a great fit. I have a really round head and sometimes headbands are just too tight but this one was flexible enough to conform to my head shape but not too loose that it was sticking out in places. The satin is a nice touch and really helps bring the whole elegant look together. This would be a great accessory for a wedding or some other formal celebration but would also be fun to wear with a more casual outfit as well.  The headband retails for $28.50.
