Recipe: Honey Mustard Beer Batter Fish Fillet
Ingredients
10 Gorton's Beer Batter Fillets
1/2 cup honey mustard
5 sandwich rolls, sliced
10 slices of tomato
5 lettuce leaves
Instructions:
1. Prepare Gorton's Beer Batter Fillets according to package instructions.
2. Spread half of mustard onto bottoms of sandwich rolls followed by a lettuce leaf, spread remaining half of mustard onto cooked fillets and place 2 cooked fillets onto each sandwich.
3. Place 2 slices of tomato onto each sandwich followed by the remaining half of the sandwich roll and serve immediately.
Results: I would have probably never thought to put honey mustard on a fish sandwich, but it made it so delicious! The Fillets tasted fresh and the batter had just the right amount of crunch. I am not a huge fan of fish fillets, but that may change after trying this. Even my kids, who would not touch fish if you paid them were intrigued and ended up liking them. Since we are always on the run, this is a great way to have an enjoyable meal without a lot of prep or cook time.
