I have always enjoyed writing. When I was younger I would frequently write poems and short stories and have even considered writing a book at one time. So, blogging was a natural choice for me. Review: Chicken Soup for the Soul books are always a favorite of mine. With my busy work, family and, well, writing commitments finding time to read is challenging. These books are full of quick stories that you can read in between tasks, as a stress reliever, or as a way to pass time. This book, obviously, spoke to me as I could certainly relate to many of the issues. Although I primarily blog about recipes, product reviews, and cakes I really do have a desire to blog about more personal and inspiring issues and have been trying to weave these things into my posts more lately. After reading these stories, I am feeling even more motivated to do so. The book, especially the chapter on Reflections on Rejection, was helpful for me because I always worry that my readers are more concerned with the giveaways and would rather not hear about what I have to say.  This is really a great book for anyone who writes or has a desire to write. It would also make a great graduation gift for anyone who is planning on going on to college to study something like journalism!
