My mom has battery operated salt and pepper mills and I have been eyeing them up for months. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to review the Ozeri Soft Touch Electric Pepper Mill and Grinder. The grinder can be used for either pepper or salt and was designed to be an easy way to add fresh salt and pepper to any meal and has the following features:

I found that the grinder worked much better with pepper than my sea salt. Perhaps it was the shape of the salt crystals, but it did not grind them up as finely as I would have liked. I had better luck with the pepper and will probably use it as a pepper grinder instead. It was very easy to use and you can add fresh salt or pepper to your meal with only one hand. It is very easy to fill and holds a nice amount so you do not have to worry about constantly refilling it. The only real problem that I have had with it is that I accidentally activate the grinding mechanism almost every time I pick it up because of the location of the button.
