Cuisine Solutions Review

Posted on 16:49 by Unknown
As I have gotten older, my tastes have certainly changed.  I like to eat well, but working full time and family commitments only allows me to cook a decent meal about once a week.  Cuisine Solutions understands that you may want to eat well, but simply don't have the time to prepare restaurant-quality food on a regular basis. Cuisine Solutions prepares gourmet meal items using the sous-vide cooking method (a high-end new technique which means it is vacuum sealed and cooked for long periods of time in hot water—locking in the flavor and eliminating the need for preservatives).

All of ingredients used are from the best sources the company can find, including  grass-fed, free range, all-natural beef and lamb, sustainably harvested wild salmon, all-natural, antibiotic-free turkey, and organic pimento peppers, among many others.  Their products, such as lamb shanks and chicken korma, are available online and in stores such as Whole Foods and Costco. They make it easier for busy moms to prepare healthy, gourmet meals in minutes.

Review: I was given the opportunity to review their Lamb Shanks with Portobello Mushroom & Red Wine Sauce and Polenta.   The lamb seasoning and marinade was extremely tasty. The red wine absorbed through the entire piece of meat making it very moist and tender. I was not a fan of the lamb skin and would have preferred that it be skinless. I had never had lamb before and was not a fan of the meat itself but I would assume that if you were a lamb lover that you would really enjoy these seasoned shanks. They definitely did not taste like frozen food!

I have also never had Polenta before. The look and texture had your mind expecting mashed potatoes but your taste buds were instead met with a fluffy blend of vegetable and cheese. Although they were all blended, you could distinctly taste the flavors of corn and cream cheese as well as the Parmesan. They were very easy to make and I like the idea of getting real cuicisine without having to break the bank with ingredients or slave over the hot stove in the kitchen!

Buy it here: You can purchase Cuisine Solutions products at your local Costco and Whole Foods stores.

I was provided with the above mentioned product for the purpose of facilitating this review. All views expressed are my own.
